THINK IT.....BELIEVE IT.....RECEIVE IT.....ACHIEVE IT!
Saundra Robinson Green stands on the shoulders of Ms. Betty Earnestine Robinson, her strong-will (didn’t take no mess) mother and star plaintiff of the “1975 New Jersey Supreme Court Case Robinson vs Cahill” whereas Ms. Betty sued the Governor of New Jersey and WON. That case resulted in the responsibility of New Jersey to provide a “Thorough and Efficient” education to all students in the public school system. As the youngest and only living sibling of 9 children, Saundra has maneuvered through life’s curveballs and became a” Pillar of Strength” for her family and her entire community. Saundra opened her home to her nieces and nephews as the only living adult in her family. Through years of tears, making many adjustments, holding on to her faith, and constantly praying, Saundra was able to mold a tight-knit family unit, a “Bond” full of LOVE and LAUGHTER whom she is now affectionately referred to as “Nanmaw” by her 11 precious grandbabies.
Saundra’s FAITH in God has always been her leading compass throughout life. That same Faith has guided her to function in many different capacities of purpose over her 50-plus years. Saundra’s purpose has ranged from an active role as manager in the Jersey City Housing Authority, Supervisor at H&R Block, President of Special Education at JCBOE, Technology Teacher/Coordinator at Lincoln HS, Resource Parent - DCPP, Senior Choir Director, Praise Dance Instructor, Young Adult Male Chorus Director, Parenting Facilitator, Youth Advocate, Advisory Board Member, and “2005 Jersey Journal Hero of the Year”, just to name a few. In every capacity, Saundra manages to leave her mark of uniqueness no matter where she goes.
In 2017, Saundra became the CEO and Founder of The Connected V.I.N.E., (Victors in Need of Each other) LLC. This organization provides mentoring support to the community. Through life’s journey, Saundra has found that focusing on community-centered love, hugs, and nurturing are the key ingredients to sowing Cycles of Hope & Healing into future generations. Being the phenomenal woman that she is, her grave “passion” is in mentoring youth, lending a venting ear to parents, and molding leadership into teenagers is Exemplary while serving Communities of young Kings & Queens who are all destined for Greatness. Her prayer is that she inspires youth and families everywhere to invest in their time, skills, purpose, and self-worth so that they too will touch the lives of many throughout their journey.
At a very young age, God led Saundra with a “U” (for “Uniqueness”), down a path with a life full of Strength, Faith, Purpose, and Service. Saundra’s welcoming SPIRIT, POISE, and overall LOVE for her community is something that those of you who have experienced her can fully attest to. Saundra’s motto is…. “As long as you “Stay Connected” to the V.I.N.E. and she “Stays Connected to GOD, TOGETHER WE WILL WIN!!!
I am the vine; you are the branches. John 15:5
